Movie, this latest chapter will propel Mario to the far corners of the galaxy. There, he will encounter a different royal figure and a formidable new rival in Bowser Jr., the heir to Bowser's throne. An Interstellar Journey Drawing from Classic Games In the vein of the Wii console classics that provide its foundation, Mario will depart from the familiar comforts of the Mushroom Kingdom to journey through the cosmos. During his grand adventure, he will reunite with some recognizable characters, for instance the Luma, a fan favorite from the original cinematic release. Yet it looks like Mario and his brother Luigi will face a fresh enemy in the form of Bowser's furious offspring, who reportedly utilizes powers related to metal. Interestingly, the trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is not exclusively centered on visuals from the Galaxy games; it also includes nods to additional popular titles like Super Mario Odyssey and Bowser's Fury. Star-Studded Voice Cast Come Back and Grow The movie will feature once again of the original voice cast, with Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek. Nintendo confirmed a set of three fresh titles already confirmed for 2026, featuring Mario Tennis Fever, a version for Switch 2 of Super Mario Bros.
